Climbing the valley after Ribeira Brava you'll find Serra de Água at an altitude of 350 m north of Ribeira Brava. The steep road leads to Encumeada at the top of the valley at an altitute of 1000 m. The road leads to São Vicente or to Paúl da Serra if turning left at the top of the Encumeada valley. Spectacular views can be enjoyed from the 'Miradouro' (belvedere).

Campanário situated 6 Km from 'Cabo Girão' . A modern church built in 1963 rises at the center at 300 m above sea level.
